India captain Rohit Sharma trained in Adelaide on Tuesday, 3 December. Sharma, who got out for just 3 runs in the pink ball warm-up game vs Australian PM XI, continued to struggle against against ball pitched just outside the off stump.

Abhishek Nayar kept a watch on the batter’s foot movement and how he was playing throughout the session. Despite looking uncomfortable, Rohit asked pacers Arshdeep Singh and Yash Dayal to bowl at full tilt ahead of the pink ball Test.

The last time India played a pink ball Test match in Australia, they were bundled out for just 36 runs. India however, come into the Test match with a resounding victory in the opening Test match at Perth Stadium. India hammered Australia by 295 runs in the opening Test match and are expected to be the favourites for this match as well, due to the presence of Jasprit Bumrah.

Sharma came out to bat at No.4 for India but got out cheaply for just 3 runs off 11 balls.
