Following the catastrophe, the neighborhood surrounding Salman Khan’s flat, Galaxy apartment, has taken on an almost unrecognizable, forlorn, and extremely secure aspect. It is now forbidden for onlookers to pull over and grab even a quick selfie or video. It’s practically become a fortress, with the entire area roped off. Filming by media professionals is prohibited in the neighborhood, although the apartment’s exterior is nonetheless monitored by CCTV cameras facing the street.

Now that the Galaxy Apartment walkway is under close observation, both male and female police constables are stationed there to keep watch. The neighborhood laborers and workers, who are often observed moving quickly about, are suddenly lingering at a distance, their cell phones out, in an attempt to get a distant look of Salman Khan.

Salman Khan’s security has been upgraded to the Y+ level in reaction to the increased threat. India Today reports that as part of his security detail, he would now always have police escort cars accompany him when he leaves his home. To add to the added security, a particularly trained policeman who is adept with a variety of weapons has been appointed.

Salman Khan has not cut off contact with his friends and colleagues in the film industry, a close family friend told ETimes, despite the heightened security precautions.

Salman Khan is still determined to help Baba Siddique’s family get through this trying moment, even if they are taking additional measures during this time. The acquaintance mentioned that despite the continuous danger, Salman is still being hospitable and providing support and help to people who were close to the late figure.
