He committed himself to obtaining the sole license rights for Crayon Shin-chan in China after assuming control of his family’s sheep farm. He had to make five visits to Shanghai to do this. His passion for the well-known anime character Shinchan led him to reproduce the character’s famous residence.
For thirty-two years, viewers of the popular Japanese anime Crayon Shin-chan have been amused. Shinnosuke Nohara, often known as Shinchan, is a naughty youngster whose escapades are followed in this family-friendly comedy series.
His mansion, a red and white brick structure that has won over admirers all over the world, is among the most iconic elements of the program.
Jiang began constructing a precise duplicate of this home on his family’s property in July 2024. Jiang had to employ certain materials to match the anime house’s appearance, which made the construction process challenging.
As a result, the project’s final cost increased to ₹3.5 crore, or almost $400,000.
Jiang’s mother gave him the financial assistance he needed to realize his ambition. The home is about complete and is around 100 square meters. When finished, it will be accessible to fans, especially for cosplay and photography, letting them enter the Shinchan universe.
However, this house is not the end of Jiang’s desire. He’d want to go farther. His next objective is to construct an exact copy of the show’s Futaba Kindergarten and transform it into an actual educational establishment. His ultimate goal is to build a real-life recreation of Crayon Shin-chan’s complete Kasukabe Town. He envisions a location where Shinchan fans may completely lose themselves in the series and live it as if it were true.
Jiang has also transformed an old automobile to look like the green car from the anime in addition to the residence. His devotion to the Crayon Shin-chan series, which has been adored by millions since it debuted as a comic in 1990, is demonstrated by this instance. Yoshito Usui, the show’s creator, passed away in 2009, but its distinctive comedy and endearing characters have kept viewers happy ever since.
