Back in September, the ACC confirmed the hosting of the Women’s U19 Asia Cup 2024 during an Executive Board Meeting in Kuala Lumpur. The championship was organised to give the players a chance to prepare for the U19 World Cup to be held next year.
In the World Cup, India will face West Indies in their opening game at the Bayuemas Oval. India are the defending champions after they won last time around in South Africa under the leadership of Shafali Verma.
